%ACT% Mika is panting heavily from all the running

%ACT% Mika passes the middle of the stage

%ACT% Guard 1 and Guard 2 appear from [1], the front one pointing his gun at Mika

Guard 1: "Freeze! You are under arrest!"

Mika: "Shit!"

%ACT% Mika turns around, running the other way

Guard 1: "I said Freeze! Or we are going to shoot!"

Mika: "Aaaah!"

%ACT% The guards shoot at Mika, but miss

%SND% 1102 - Gunshots

%ACT% Mika reaches the end of the stage in [7], when …

%ACT% Adham appears from [7], pointing his gun at Mika

Adham: "STOP!"

%ACT% Mika stops and shrieks!

%SND% 1101 - (STOP)
%SND% 1103 - Music Cue 2 (Suspense)

%ACT% Adham holds Mika at gunpoint, pushing her forward to [5] while talking

Adham "Well, hello my exotic beauty! Didn't your mother teach you that women are supposed to obey when a man gives them an order?"

Mika: "Allright! Allright! You've got me surrounded! And I'm unarmed! I give up! Okay? Here, come and take me, I promise I won't run away again! I know you are a sensible man, I'm sure we can talk it over! I …"

Adham: "SHUT UP! I'm sick and tired of your ramblings! I'm the new ruler of Ash Maq'wa now, and unlike Rashid, I don't let myself be pushed around by women! These times are over!"

Mika: "Okay! Whatever you say!"

Adham: "Guards! Get back to your posts!"

Guard 1: "Are you sure you can handle this situation alone, my lord?"

Adham: "Don't question my orders, and get moving! You've left the gatehouse unguarded long enough!"

Guard 1: "Yes, my lord!"

%SND% 1103 (STOP) (fades)

%ACT% Guard 1 and Guard 2 turn around and leave

%ACT% Mika is shaking with rage and fear

Adham: "Okay, now that they're gone, it's just you and me."

Mika: "Yes. And what are you going to do now?"

Adham (fiercely): "Now? Now I can finally kill you!"

%ACT% Adam shoots two times: *bang* *bang*

%SND% 1104A - Gunshot
%SND% 1104A - Gunshot

%ACT% Mika shrieks in pain, and drops

%ACT% Adham walks up to Mika in [5]

Adham: "If you have a last wish, this is your chance."

Mika (whispering, dying): "Fuck off, Adham."

%ACT% Adham shoots again

%SND% 1104A - Gunshot
%SND% 1104B - KLICK

%ACT% Mika goes lifeless in [5]

Adham (to himself): "Well, they say, a life without friends means a death without witness. In'Shallah. In'Shallah."

%ACT% Adham chuckles contently to himself, turns around, and prepares to leave

Malika(off): "What a brilliant plan, Adham. It just has a TINY little flaw …"

Adham: "WHO'S THERE?"

%SND% 1105 - Music Cue 3 (Suspense 2)

%ACT% Malika enters from [1] to [3], followed by Nashida and more fennecs.

Malika: "Next time you cold-bloodedly kill someone, maybe you should do it when there are fewer witnesses around! I think we've met before."

%ACT% Adham turns around, pointing his gun at Malika.

%ACT% All Fennecs point their guns at Adham in return

Adham: "How did YOU manage to get in here?"

Malika: "All we had to do was knock a little louder than usual. Thank you for calling your guards away from the gatehouse. And now, drop your weapon, murderer!"

Adham: "Oh, let's not judge the book by its cover, allright? Sometimes things are not what they seem. What you just saw was a genuine case of JUSTICE being served. There lies the assassin who killed by beloved brother. And don't forget whose son I am. If you dare to touch just a single hair on my head, the wrath of my father will come upon you!"

Malika: "Oh yes? But what if your father knew, that it was you who killed Rashid, and not Mika?"

Adham: "Why should he believe such an obvious lie?"

Malika: "Because I have the proof."

Adham: "That's totally impossible! You're bluffing! I am the only witness!"

Malika: "Wrong! Very soon, the entire world will become the witness of what you have done."

Adham: "And how so, if I may ask?"

Malika: "Your brother was a very special man. And he had two things you didn't take into account: An unmatched presence of mind … and his best friend's number on speed dial."

%ACT% Malika produces Mika's cellphone, and plays the second recorded message

%SND% 1105 - (STOP) slow fade
%SND% 1106 - Phone Recording + Music Cue 4 (Drama)

Adham: "Allright. I see. I made a mistake. But so did you, Malika. When you said the world will become my witness, you were assuming you'd live to TELL the world about this. But as we speak, my men are already preparing to sweep your handfull of flea-ridden street dogs off the dam like dirt. So let's make a deal. You hand over that phone to me, and I will spare your lives. How's that?"

%ACT% Malika laughs heartily

%SND% 1107A - Musice Cue 5 (Victory)

Malika: "Adham, you're so hopelessly self-absorbed, it's unbelievable! There is no army coming to your rescue. You even had to withdraw your guards from the main gate just to stop ONE single woman. I am going to take control of this dam now, and there is nothing you can do about it. Because I *have* an army. Here it is."

%ACT% Malika turns round towards her pack

Malika: "Hey, you flea-ridden street dogs! Let's show this aristocat how much of a handfull we are!"

%SND% 1108 - Cheers

%ACT% Everyone starts shouting and cheering and ululululating

%ACT% The first fennec in line lights a torch (owolf), then lights the torch of the one behind her (Tigerseye), and so on (Xan, Lynard).

%ACT% Ony by one the fennecs light their torches by passing back the flame, showing Adham, that they are really a LARGE group!

%HND% Light up the LEDs in the background panel (CJ)

%LIG% UV-Lights on

Malika: "Adham! You just shot an innocent woman, in front of everybody's eyes. The proof that you killed your brother lies here in my hand. And everybody in Dawlat al Nimr knows who is reponsible for the death of their loved ones. No, Adham. Nobody is going to come to your rescue. Nobody. It's time to surrender."

Adham (in rage): "No! NOOOOOOOOO! I'm a man of royal blood and I'm not going to let myself be disgraced by a woman! I will not grant you the satisfaction of my surrender! I'd rather die an honorable death! Allahu Akbar!"

%SND% 1107A (STOP)
%SND% 1107B - Music Rises

%ACT% jumps off the side of the dam in [4] an disappears from view

Adham: "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"

%ACT% Nashida raises her machine gun and fires at Adham

Nashida: "Oh yeah? See you in hell, Adham!"

%SND% 1109 - Machine gun fire + hits

%ACT% Adham shrieks

%SND% 1110 (cont.) - Body hits the ground

Nashida: "Honorable death … MY ASS! Muahahahahaaaaaa!"

%SND% 1111 - Laughter and Cheering
%SND% 1112 - Music cue 6 (Finale)

Malika: "Nashida! That was totally unnecessary! Stop fooling around, and make yourself useful!"

%ACT% An "endless" stream of fennecs with torches run back and forth behind everyone

Nashida (seriously): "Allright. I understand. As you command, Malika!"

Malika: "Take one unit to the engine house, and the other to the administrative building, and tell the guards about their new employer, allright? I'm going to stay here and make sure that Mika is being taken care of. She is a hero now. And a hero deserves more dignity than this."

%ACT% Lionel appears from [1] and immediately rushes forward to Mika

%ACT% Nashida storms off to [7]

%ACT% Poke and Lori come in after Lionel in [1]

Lionel: "Mika! Oh my god! Mika! Noooooo! Mikaaaaaaaaa! *bwaaahahaha*"

%ACT% Lionel cuddles up to the lifeless Mika, crying

Lionel: "I'm so sorry, Mika. I'M SO SORRY! Oh please … talk to me … TALK TO ME!"

%ACT% Lionel cries, because he fears that Mika might be dead.

Malika: "Lionel? Lionel! You're wasting your time. Bring her back to the camp. Here, take the phone. You're going to need it. And you, ferret, lend the lion a paw, will you?"

%ACT% Poke and Lionel pick up Mika and carry her off stage to [1]

%ACT% Everyone bows towads Mika and Lionel

%ACT% Fennec 1 walks up to Malika, whispering into her ear.

%HND% START DRY ICE FOG (FinFarenath, CJ)

Malika: "Women of Al Waha Ta'lab! I have an important announcement to make: We have just taken over the administrative building and the engine house! The dam and the new settlement are now ours!"

%SND% 1113 - Cheers (Short)

Malika: "By the people of Ash Maq'wa! I hereby give the order to return the water to the people it belongs to! LET THE RIVER FLOW AGAIN!"

%ACT% Everyone cheers, except Malika

%ACT% Malika sits down, looking at the floor.

%SND% 1112 (cont.) - Lori: "Malika? Malika! Why aren't you celebrating? This is your victory!"

%SND% 1112 (cont.) - Malika: "Oh Lori. I wish we could have been friends. But look at what happened to Mika. Our worlds are just too different."

%SND% 1112 (cont.) - Lori: "Are they? You came here to make sure your loved ones will be be safe, right?"

%SND% 1112 (cont.) - Malika: "Yes, but …"

%SND% 1112 (cont.) - Lori: "And so did we! We ARE not different! We're equal!"

%ACT% Malika hugs Lori
